Tay Ninh temporarily suspends enterprises not satisfying ati-pandemic conditions

Facing the complicated situation of the Covid-19 epidemic, 6 companies in industrial parks and export processing zones in Vietnam which have not yet ensured the "3 on-site" conditions (on-site production, on-site accommodation, on-site epidemic prevention) had been required to suspend operation.

1. Temporary suspension to enterprises which do not satisfy "3 on-site" model
 

On July 16, according to Mr. Ha Van Cung - Head of the Economic Zone Management Board of Tay Ninh province - has asked 6 enterprises in industrial parks, export processing zones and economic zones in the province to suspend operation due to not satisfying "3 on-site" conditions (on-site production, on-site accommodation and on-site epidemic prevention) to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic.

In details, 6 enterprises with over 34,400 workers including: V.N.M.B Joint Stock Company (Moc Bai Border Gate Economic Zone, Loi Thuan Commune, Ben Cau District); D.H.S Company Limited; L.T Company Limited; T.I Company Limited (Trang Bang Industrial Park, Trang Bang Town); H.S Company Limited (Linh Trung 3 Export Processing Zone); P.H.V.N Company Limited (Cha La Industrial Park, Duong Minh Chau District). These 6 companies are located in Tay Ninh, that are implementing social distancing according to Directive No.16 of Prime Minister. (Notice: Names of companies was hidden).

Regarding the suspension of operations, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province - Nguyen Thanh Ngoc issued requirement to enterprises within 72 hours in order that they have to make implementation plans as "3 on-site" model on July 15.

In case of ineligibility to perform "3 on-site" model, enterprises must organize a concentrated pick-up and drop-off car for 100% of workers working inside the company; absolutely not allow workers to take personal cars; request workers when returning home to have their health monitored by themselves; do not move to many places to ensure epidemic prevention; organize and arrange dwelling worker or those coming from areas where social distancing according to Directive 16 to follow “must ride, work, and eat separately” and ensure social distancing.

2. Fourteen-day quarantine at home for people from H.Duong Minh Chau to other localities

Due to the record of many Covid-19 cases in community, from 0:00 on July 15, Tay Ninh province applies social distancing according to Directive 15 across the province and applies Directive 16 to Duong Minh Chau district, Trang Bang Town and 5 communes of Ben Cau District (Loi Thuan, An Thanh, Tien Thuan, Long Thuan and Ben Cau Town).

Particularly in Duong Minh Chau district, due to Covid-19 outbreaks with unknown cause of infection and risk of spreading in the community and industrial zones, the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province has directed to implement strict social distancing according to Directive No.16.

In addition to suspending operation of some units that are not eligible for “3 on-site” conditions, from 0:00 on July 16, the Provincial People's Committee asked people and workers living in Duong Minh Chau district not to move out of the locality to other districts, towns, communes, cities in the province, except for emergencies (emergency, medical examination and treatment., etc). At the same time, other localities will quarantine at home for 14 days for people returning from Duong Minh Chau to their localities.
