STRATEGIC DISTRIBUTION PARTNERSHIP SIGNING CEREMONY BETWEEN SAI GON VRG & FIRST SOLAR

Sai Gon VRG Investment Corporation and First Solar have recently signed the Strategic Distribution Partnership agreement.

On December 8, 2020, after the signing of the Strategic Distribution Partnership, Sai Gon VRG Investment Corporation (Sai Gon VRG) officially became the first Strategic Distribution Partner of First Solar in Asia - a leading provider of solar energy. Accordingly, Sai Gon VRG shall be a Strategic Distributor of First Solar's solar PV technology in the Vietnamese market.

After more than 6 months of distributing, installing and operating rooftop-mounted solar power system projects using First Solar photovoltaic panels, Sai Gon VRG is acknowledged by First Solar for its professionalism and speedy service as well as its extensive expertise in the installation and operation of First Solar photovoltaic panels. In addition, Sai Gon VRG is known to be the investor and manager of many industrial parks with thousands of hectares of factory roofs ready to install photovoltaic panels, which shows that Sai Gon VRG shares suitable development strategies with First Solar to become their strategic distribution partner in Vietnam. Therefore, this Partnership shall allow Sai Gon VRG to provide authorized First Solar products on a larger scale with a more competitive price, and at the same time, enhancing our solar PV project installation and operation capacity as well as enabling genuine warranty and recycling policies of PV Panels from First Solar, to maximize our customers’ profits.

With a carbon footprint that is up to six times lower and a water footprint that is up to 24 times lower than crystalline silicon PV panels manufactured using conventional, energy-intensive production methods, First Solar’s PV modules deliver a superior environmental profile and lowest carbon solar available today.
