Industrial parks in Tay Ninh province with 3 projects connecting the SouthEast region

In order to create a connection with the Southeast provinces and create momentum for Tay Ninh industrial zones in particular as well as the provincial economy in general, Tay Ninh province (located in South of Vietnam) will commence the construction of three transport projects connecting with the East region. Southern region, with a total investment of more than 4,500 billion dong in 2021.

1. The connection infrastructure is too little

According to Phap Luat Newspaper, the construction investment project management board of Tay Ninh province said that the road network in the area is more than 8,200 km. In particular, the road managed by the central government has three national highways (NH), these are the main roads connecting Tay Ninh with the provinces in the southern key economic region, as well as the Southeast region. Locally managed roads have a total length of 8,128 km (accounting for 98.14%), including 740 km provincial roads, 376 km long urban trunk roads and 7,012 km rural roads.

It can be seen that the road network, distributed relatively evenly, has basically formed the main traffic axes connecting from the center of the province to the districts and neighboring provinces and cities such as the axes along the north - south direction to connect connecting with Ho Chi Minh City. Specifically, including National Highway 22, National Highway 22B, DT.782 - DT.784, DT.793... However, the traffic infrastructure connecting Tay Ninh with other provinces in the southern key economic region is small and small in scale, especially in connection with Ho Chi Minh City. Currently, there is almost only National Road 22, which is now degraded and fully loaded, but has not yet been invested in upgrading and expanding. Therefore, at rush hour, the section from Cu Chi to An Suong and some sections through Trang Bang Industrial Park, Trang Bang urban area and Go Dau urban area is always congested, greatly affecting the economic development - regional households of the southern key economic region.

2. Deploy three connection projects

- The project of the connecting road connecting the N8 - 787B - 789 region is built in Trang Bang town and Duong Minh Chau district. The starting point is at the junction of DT.787A road intersecting with An Phu - An Hoa road and the end point is at Ben Cui bridge bordering Binh Duong province. The project is divided into three component projects including: component 1 - N8 road started in 2023, expected to complete the whole project in 2026; Component 2 - DT.787B road starts construction at the end of September 2021 and component 3 - DT.789 road starts construction in December 2021. The total investment for this route is 3,417 billion VND, with investment capital from the central and local budgets.

- DT.794 road project, section from Ka Tum junction to Saigon bridge (phase 2), built in Tan Chau district. The starting point of the project intersects with DT.785 at Ka Tum junction and the end point is at Km16+000 in the direction of the alignment (near Suoi Ngo bridge). The project is expected to start construction at the end of June 2021 and complete the whole project in 2024. Total investment is more than 499 billion VND.

- The project of upgrading and expanding DT.795 passes through Tan Bien and Tan Chau districts with the first point intersecting National Highway 22B at Km69+560, Tan Bien town, and the end point is adjacent to the shore of Dau Tieng lake, Tan Thanh commune. . Total investment is more than 608 billion VND, is expected to start at the end of September 2021 and complete the whole project in 2024.

The project management board of Tay Ninh province said that in order to solve traffic congestion, the investment in traffic connection projects between Tay Ninh and the Southeast provinces is very necessary and urgent. These projects will contribute to the completion of the road system connecting Long An - Tay Ninh - Ho Chi Minh City - Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc and will connect industrial parks in the province.

3. Tay Ninh Industrial Parks are connected to geographical provinces

Once completed, the road connecting the N8 - 787B - 789 region will contribute to the completion of the road system connecting Long An - Tay Ninh - Ho Chi Minh City - Binh Duong, through Tay Ninh province. At the same time, connecting Thanh Thanh Cong Industrial Park, Linh Trung Export Processing Zone III, multi-functional area of ​​Hung Thuan commune including logistics center, ICD port and inland waterway port cluster (in Trang Bang town)...

In addition, the traffic connection from Trang Bang to Go Dau also creates convenience in freight transport and creates more attraction for other industrial parks, including Phuoc Dong Industrial Park. From an investor's perspective, when the connection routes are expanded and completed, it will create more premise for investment projects to expand production at home and abroad to grow strongly.
