Decison of adjusting and supplementing industrial zones near Ho Chi Minh (Part 1)
In this section, I would like to send you information about the additional adjustment planning of the industrial parks in Long An province - one of the localities near Ho Chi Minh City. Many investors currently get to know that Long An province has many industrial parks near Ho Chi Minh City, along with other localities such as Dong Nai province or Binh Duong province.
According to Decision No. 1840/TTg-CN dated December 28th, 2020 of the Prime Minister on adjusting the development plan of industrial zones in Long An province, the Prime Minister agreed with the proposal of the Ministry of Planning and Investment to adjust and supplement the plan for the development of industrial parks in Long An province by 2020.
Specifically, this Decision is approved to:
- Remove Long Hau 3 industrial park (767.02 ha) (at 2 localties including Phuoc Lai and Phuoc Vinh Tay communes, Can Giuoc district, Long An province) out of the development planning of Vietnam's industrial parks until 2020.
- Add three expanded industrial parks to the development plan of Vietnam's industrial parks by 2020 including: Hoa Binh Industrial Park expanded with an area of 49 hectares in Nhi Thanh commune, Thu Thua district, Long An province; Long Hau industrial park phase 2 expanded with 90 hectares in Long Hau commune, Can Giuoc district, Long An province; Xuyen A Industrial Park (Phase 3) with an area of 177.09 ha in My Hanh Bac Commune, Duc Hoa District, Long An Province.
- Add three new industrial parks to the development planning of Vietnam's industrial zones by 2020 including Saigon - Mekong Industrial Park with an area of 200 ha in Thanh Loi commune, Ben Luc district, Long An province; Tan Tap industrial park with an area of 654 hectares in Tan Tap commune, Can Giuoc district, Long An province; Loc Giang industrial park with an area of 466 ha in Loc Giang commune, An Ninh Dong commune and Tan My commune, Duc Hoa district, Long An province.
Other industrial zones in the planning of industrial parks in Long An province remain unchanged.
Long An Provincial People's Committee is responsible for directing relevant agencies to urgently carry out procedures for early construction investment after industrial parks are added to the industrial park development planning; consider and mobilize private investment capital and other lawful capital sources for investment and synchronous development of industrial park infrastructure according to schedule, quality assurance and in accordance with the provisions of law.
