Billion Industrial polyester film production project in Phuoc Dong Industrial Park

On November 26th, 2022 in Vung Tau province, within the agenda of the Conference to implement the Action Program to implement Resolution No. 24-NQ/TW on "Orient of socio-economic development, ensuring national security, national security, national security and economic development, national security". defense and security in the Southeast region to 2030, with a vision to 2045", the ceremony to announce the cooperation agreement and grant the Investment Registration Certificate, the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation among the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the People's Committees of provinces and cities in the Southeast region with partners and investors. There are 20 projects in total in this ceremony with total registered capital of more than 10 billion USD (5,000 billion VND).

For Tay Ninh province, the project "FACTORY OF MANUFACTURING POLYESTER FILM" of Billion Industrial Vietnam Co., Ltd. has great honor to be granted the Investment Registration Certificate by Mr. Nguyen Thanh Ngoc (Chairman of Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee) in the witness of Prime Minister Mr. Pham Minh Chinh and leaders of local ministries and the representatives of Billion Industrial Vietnam Co., Ltd and Sai Gon VRG Investment Corporation.

As planned, the project "FACTORY OF MANUFACTURING POLYESTER FILM FACTORY" will be directly invested and operated by Billion Industrial Vietnam Co., Ltd. with the scale of 20 hectares in Phuoc Dong Industrial Park (Tay Ninh province, Vietnam). The total registered investment capital is at 5,084,200,000,000 (Five thousand and eighty four billion two hundred million) Vietnam Dongs, equivalent to 220,000,000 (Two hundred and twenty million) US dollars. This project will be engaged in producing high-quality plastic films, plastic sheets and board and PET chips for export markets.

This event is remarkable milestone for the well-developed cooperation relationship between Sai Gon VRG and Billion Industrial Vietnam Co., Ltd. over the past years as well as affirming the capability of Tay Ninh province in attracting investment.

According to the leader of Billion Industrial Vietnam, when the project comes into operation, it will bring many practical benefits to Tay Ninh province and investors. For Tay Ninh province, the project will create more jobs for local workers, contributing to stabilizing and improving the living quality of the local. At the same time, the project will also contribute to the budget of Tay Ninh province in coming years.

For Billion Industrial Vietnam Co., Ltd., this project marks the 5th year of the Billion’s investment for producing in Vietnam. The first project was implemented in 2017 and has been put into stable and effective operation so far.

In 2017, Fujian Billion Polymerization Fiber Tech Company. Ind. Co. Ltd., invested in a large-scale production project of synthetic fibers POY, FDY, DTY, polyester PET chips with volume up to 700,000 tons/year with a total investment of 220 million USD in Phuoc Dong Industrial Park (Tay Ninh).

Phuoc Dong Industrial Park is a part of Phuoc Dong Industrial Area - Urban - Service Complex, located in Trang Bang Town and Go Dau District, Tay Ninh Province, Vietnam.
